Party With A Purpose

This year my “Old Fashioned” Holiday Party invitation (yes Old Fashions were the cocktail of the evening – Yum!)  included a request for my guests to bring a wrapped toy that in some way represented them,who they are now or were as a child. They placed the toys in the Santa bag on the front porch before they entered the house. Later in the evening each person unwrapped a gift that someone else brought and they had to guess who brought the gift. Fun ensued (and a couple of “fun” prizes were rewarded)! Thanks to our generous friends many new toys will be under the trees this Christmas for families in need in our community.
