Cornice Board Valance in about an Hour

Checked another item off of the office re-decorating list – Cornice Board Window Valance.

I had the board from a previous project but it is simply a 3 inch board with metal brackets for fastening it to the wall. A Nail gun and fabric are the other two necessities. I like to shop the table top, bedding and window covering departments in discount stores to get the best buy on fabric – that way it always has a hemmed end so no sewing is required (and you can get large pieces for little $).
